Today, I tried another experiment. It didn't really work but I can explain what was meant to happen.
So I made a slime out of hand soap and sugar. You can put it in the fridge for 2 days or the freezer for an hour. But when I put it into the freezer it just went all clumpy and icy and did not turn out well. But that's okay!
I have explained what chemical and physical change is in my last post but I can explain it again. Physical change is when a substance changes its form but is still the same substance it was before. Chemical change is when it changes completely. Slime is a chemical change because it changes into a whole other substance. Those are called, Changes in Matter!
Have you ever heard of solids and liquids? A solid is something that is firm and stable in shape. And a liquid is something that can change its form to any shape.
For an example, If you pour water into a glass, it can change its form to fit into the glass. But a solid stays the same shape and form. Slime is special. It is both a solid and a liquid. Slime is a solid because it can keep its shape but can also change its from to fit anything you put it in. This is called States of Matter!
I hope you learnt something on this post. Thank you and Stay Safe!
